Default From STI to TVR - who's the best insurer?

Guys

Have a 53 reg STI at the mo, insured with Greenlight

Looking at a mid life crisis and thinking of a TVR Sagaris, for a change!

Anyone got any history of being able to insure these things? Im in Northern Ireland as well. Aged 30, 8 yrs NCD.

Any recommendations helpful.

Cheers
R

I have had three TVR's over the years, an S2, Chim 400 and a chim 500 for all of them Norwich Union was the cheapest surprisingly enough, I had full no claims bonus and was around your age at that time..

Cheers mate - so whats your verdict on the TVR's? Clarkson reckons the Sagaris is the best of them? Would you recommend one?

Used to insure my TVR chimp 450 and Griff 500 with adrian flux, on a specialist policy, was alot cheaper than the normal Admiral, Direct line tyres..

My best mate just got his TVR insured with Swinton Specialist - never heard of them so don't know if any good or not, he found it in Top Gear mag i think but he said it was the cheapest price he got.

Good luck!

Default TVR Insurance

Hiya mate,

Spoke to Tony last night he said this was the guy who helped him and he was excellent - he only had an email so don't know if it helps. Hope you get your Sagaris - I agree with Clarkson, best of the bunch.

You could go with the AA then they could recover it when it breaks down too.
