Anyone else had a big rise in insurance this year?
Just got my insurance renewal quote in ... up 36% on last year. 
Apparantly this is due to 'revised' insurance ratings for Subarus in 2007.
Am I being BS'd or what?

Mine went up by £605 but that was due to a theft claim back in july 06, went from £12095-£1800.
Needless to say i swapped insurance from privilage-Aplan, and now i pay £895,Big difference give them a try

Tried an online quote with the same bunch
- online quote was strangely less than the renewal price.
Phoned their renewal hotline
- they revised their quote but couldn't match their online quote.
The real rub is that they are still cheaper than the competition (by a few quid) - but way way way way dearer than last year.
Sounds like market (profit) adjustment to me ...

I'm probably getting penalised because they realised they reduced you lot by too much. Its a conspiracy I tell you.
