STI (Type UK) insurance in Northern Ireland)
Hi guys
Have a 2003 STI in Northern Ireland (in the country). Insurance up on 19 January 2007. I'm 29, have 8 yrs NCB, CD10 (3 points and £100 fine) and I'm looking to see who have advise on cheap/good insurance companies.
Last year I paid £1,800.

Try Admiral/Elephant/Bell (all part of the same group)
I am also in Northern Ireland with the same car, (but a few years older and no points) and paid around £800 this year. Also try Greenlight (the sponsors of this forum section) as they have just started covering NI
Good Luck

You're a bloody legend mate!!!
Got on to Greenlight. W Todd & Son in Omagh were the cheapest last year and this year quoted my £1,854, up £100 from last year. They are good to deal with. Possible opportunity that they would have quoted be £1,462 this year, but get this.......
Greenlight offered me £897!!!!!!!
£600 excess. No hidden stuff. Had to ask yer man to run over it 3 times to make sure!!!!
Thanks mate. Now thats what I call a good mornings work!!!
For the record to others looking, here are some other companies and wat they offered:
O'Keafes insurance - would not cover due to 3 points
Elephant - £2,148
Tesco - £2,700
Endsleigh - £1,504
Country Life (Castlederg) - £2,000+

Hi - while on the subject of Northern Ireland it is worth mentioning that Liverpool Victoria will quote sensible prices provided you are slightly aged and your Scooby has no mods. This is despite any message on their website that you must be a mainland UK resident.
If you are any kind of civil servant then you should be eligible for their CSMA scheme at about 10% less.
First class company and highly rated in many surveys and polls.
