I owned a DC5 (2.0 jap import) at the age of 20 (last year)..... i went with, believe it or not, Ford Insure lol, done me for £2k for the year FC with £600 XS...which i believe to be fantastic.... they didn't have it on their books, so they based it on the DC2 model (1.8) but had it in their notes it was a 2.0litre! so they were still covering me for it and as a result, it was grp 18, and not 20 that it should have been...give'm a try

This was the question i had put to them, and made sure that after speaking with their under-writers, that i would 100% be covered for the DC5.
They put down for the value that it was £17k Dc2 lol
but i made sure that i had written confirmation of this from both their underwritters & the to pgaffer at ford insure, which is when i found out they are owned by Norwich Union, so letter from UW was from Ford Insure, and from the gaffa (which took 2 months) was NU
