I'm with Tesco's and have been for the last 4 years.
They are the cheapest for me but i have heard a rumor that they are no good when it comes to claiming.
I'd like to know if this is true as i may look at changing.

Keith Micheals - Matched LV but decided to stay with them for ease.
May well try them again come renewal time

Best bet for you is Diamond.....£405 for WRX300 this year, protected....
After that try Noel Dazley.....(noel who I hear you cry...just try them )
http://www.noeldazely.co.uk/
Both of these wipe the floor with A-Plan/Greenlight and the rest....
After that try Privilege?

Just because one company is underwritten by the same company, doesnt meant to say that it wont have a more competitive premium. This is what their business is all about....

I was thinking more of the service provided than the underwriters. If the policy cover itself is OK, but the service on the phone is c**p, then switching from one to another if they both use the same call centre/service staff won't give any advantages!

I tried them yesterday for a quote and they phoned me up today to tell me they dont quote for ANY Impreza's!!!
When questioned about ppl on SN who recommended them for IMPREZA insurance they said,
" Oh.......we do cover some Impreza's....."
Fcukin idiots, I've only got a unmodified WRX!!
Complete waste of time, stay well clear!!
Cheers, I had to get that off my chest

Just because they wouldnt insure 'your' WRX doesnt make them fcukin idiots does it?!
My girlfriend has just added (as she is an underwriter) that maybe it is because of your attitude that they decided to decline your custom......it does help to be friendly to these people...

I almost went with Admiral as I managed to get them down to within £10 of the Noel Dazley quote. But ND do £250 excess, and £250 only......
Not the £250 compulsory plus £100/£250/£500 voluntary that the others do....
Depends what you want I guess???
