Modified Vehicle Insurance
I know this has been posted before, but this is just a reminder......
I read a lot of posts on here stating that people have insured their cars with x,y or z with all mods covered.
However, after speaking to a lot of people from here it seems there is a big difference in what people think is actually 'covered'
I would always recommend speaking to the company who you are insured with as to what happens ref mods in the event of a claim.
Most companies will only replace modified items with standard parts, and will not take mods into account in the payout price.
However, Keith Michaels and Greenlight cover mods like-for-like, therefore they will be replaced with modified items or taken into account in a settlement.
I myself have spent a lot of money on the mods on my Impreza, and would not be happy it they were not replaced if the worst happened.
Always worth checking where you stand

Hi Gary,
I know this is about the fourth time I've brought this up, but my mods are still not listed on the documentation.
I've seen posts from others recently who say theirs are listed ?
The last thread I mentioned this on was deleted for some reason.

Don't know why it was deleted (not anything to do with me)
