Default P1 owners - what do you pay for your insurance?

I got a quote for £1100! Double what we're paying on the turbo wagon.

My Type R was just under £1,100 with Aplan.

Its worth less than yours and I've only got 4 years no claims and am 28.

Churchill. We pay less than £500 on the wagon, so I was expecting £600-£800 on the P1. The first quote (which was closer to £1200) was a real jaw-dropper. It's weird - Churchill have never managed to equal our previous insurance quote for the wagon.
