Chaps,
try A Plan (in the yellow pages). They are a broken and very good.

My renewal for Admiral came through- £767 up from about £650 with no change in circumstances (MY99 turbo no mods, 28 years old, married, full NCB, garaged, Herts postcode).

I rang around the usual suspects but no-one could get near Admiral. All in the region of £850.

So I called A Plan, and a very helpful chap called Kevin took my details. He took a fair bit of histroy too (previous types of car etc) and said it would need some work.

So a day later he's got me a premium of £699 with AXA (after negotiations).

I'm quite happy with this and thouroughly recommend them. My wife was with them for 5 years too.
