Before everyone gets carried away, there is a disclaimer on their pages that might limit the usefulness to many on here:

Vehicles we can't cover
If main driver or spouse is not registered keeper & owner.
Worth more than £60,000.
Normally kept in N Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or outside the UK.
Caravans, motor-homes, motorbikes or commercial vehicles.
Imports, kit cars, classic, custom or modified to improve performance.
Wedding cars or limousines.
Diplomatic, Q plates, emergency services or military.
Used for hire, reward, trade, delivery or for carrying passengers for profit.
Used for racing, trials, track days, 4x4 or off-road events or as a pace car.

So no limos then !

I am 33 years old with 9 years NCB
My insurance is £219 TPFT with my wife as a named driver
(she is a learner "L")
Its an MY95 Classic Impreza Turbo with ppp, Upgraded exhaust, 17" Alloys
The fully Comp quote was £340 but I'm actually a very good driver so No need.

Who is it you all ask????????????????????????

Simply - Quote me happy dot com - Norwich union direct

You must be one of only a hand full of people they've managed to 'quote happy'

They are one of the most expensive for me (over £2000!) I'm currently paying just under £500 fully comp with priviledge...

Doesn't make any sense, renewal time in 4 months... oh what fun...

Unhappy

I'd just check that they are aware of the PPP, and more to the point that you are insured with it on...to date I have not heard of ANY modifications being allowed with NU Direct...best check to make sure....never a good idea running around with a potentially voided insurance policy...

Strange - I did an online quote with NU, then phoned to ask what the diff would be for PPP, springs and wheels. Answer: about £150 They didn't bat an eyelid at the mods.
