i just had my best quote yet, norwich union, fully comp, cat 1 alarm, 37, full no claims, was 427.99 with just me on, and for some strange reason they put the mrs on and it came down to a very satisfying 381.99. but there is a 550 excess. still damn cheap tho.

it does matey,the bloke at the insurance company told me that insurer's look upon you as a "mature adult" if you are married or living with a partner,so it's cheaper,also add about twelve kid's to the policy

FFS why did I end up having to pay £1300 for a JDM STI then? It's not like I didn't shop around. I live in a nice enough area, car is garaged, clean licence...

My2000 standard. 24 yrs old, 5 Yrs NCD. Live in nice area of Hull (there arent many!!) Pay £750 but had to have tracker fitted.

With Tesco (Who surprisingly own Tracker!!!!)

these insuence companys really puzzle me, i just tried elephant cause some folk reckon there cheap and they came up at 1103.55, i mean where the buggery fart do they get an extra £800 from compared to norwich union, its just mind boggleing

£680 for a brand new WRX with PPP, I'm 38 yrs (old git) with full no claims (protected), including wife (god help them).

24 years old, 4 years ncb, 3 points which i got over 4 years ago, insured with tesco @ £501 tpft. car is a 1995 UK Turbo. Advised them it has Macrae series interior but was there from production. also has filter, exhaust and anthrocite STI type R alloys. oh yeah with wife and kid.!!

p.s tesco wouldn't have me on an import till i was 25. how are others previously posted b4 me getting insurance on their's.
