Default A-Plan have halved my premium (nearly)

I got my renewal through the post the other day from Norwich Union and it was £400 dearer than last year.

RB5 with induction kit, exhaust and brake upgrade, standard cat 1 alarm immoboliser and no tracker.

I'm 29 with full no claims and a clean license, had a speeding penalty in january 2001.
Wife is on the policy as well she's 27 with a clean license and no claims.

Norwich Union £1300
Elephant £896 but rising to £1080 with monthly payments
Greenlight £759
A-Plan £694

Spoke to Rob earlier who was very helpful and actually new what he was talking about, they seem to take into account your experience with the car and it makes a massive effect on your premium and they don't mind mod's either.

Amazed i can get insured for that price after the Norwich Union quote

Have you got protected NCB with that policy?

Called them earlier, and they would only protect if over 35!

Default Pleased with A-Plan too

I'm insuring my first Scoob too with A-Plan.

Have done endless phoning around (at least 30 mins each time) and they offered by far the best quote.

Cover for MY05 JDM STI Impreza with sports suspension and exhaust plus replacement lipspolier modifications leading to increase <10%BHP (to 325/330)- 2 drivers (both 44), full NCD protected, 14k mpa, kept on drive, social domestic and commuting

A-Plan £750
Churchill £854
Privalige £948
Endsleigh £1060
NU £1120
Tesco £1151
Highway £1586

Most companies/brokers wouldn't quote as import, modified and my driving record has been on company cars since '97.

I highly recommend them from my dealings so far - obviously haven't had any claims yet or anything.
