Buying a subaru - who's a good insurance company to go with?
Hi
I'm about to buy a WRX (not STI) import from a trader, totally unmodified. I'm 28, 29 on the 26th June. I have 6-7 years no claims bonus. I don't have any penalty points on my license as they expired four years ago - although it will be 5 years on the 23rd June.
I had a quote from Tesco online which was £1200 fully comprehensive. I know Tesco is a high street company so I'm not going with them. I am currently with Adrian Flux with my current car. I can't phone them till next Tuesday to get a quote from them. Can anyone recommend any good companies, and ideally ones that would allow monthly payments? What sort of quotes should I be looking at...roughly?
The car is an N reg 1996 with 50000 miles. It's unmodified as mentioned so the power should be the standard 260bhp. The price is £6k. Does this sound like a good price? I looked it over yesterday and it looked excellent. But I'm getting it professionally inspected.
Cheers for any advice and info.
Thanks
Matt

try privalidge, 08452460275, they were the cheapest by a mile for me on my sti5 type r, however tesco was the next cheapest.
spent ages phoning round, do this most years when renewal time comes, but no one can get near privalidge, adrian flux was an extra £440.
