Hi
when I bought my car they insisted on tracker. That was nearly eight years ago, but the difference in premiums for not or to have was nearly £600 hundred for 1 year,so it made financial sense.
These days you are lucky to get £50 off a premium. Good job I got one off payment Tracker subsciption package.

Frizzell through the CSMA (civil service motoring association).
No tracker even asked about! (though I'm not saying whether I have one or not!). £770 fully comp. Full NCB, no points. Big excess at £450 acc. damage though.
Nige.

Direct Line's tracker requirements must be based on where you live. I've just re-newed and no mention of Tracker being required.
