Hi

when I bought my car they insisted on tracker. That was nearly eight years ago, but the difference in premiums for not or to have was nearly £600 hundred for 1 year,so it made financial sense.

These days you are lucky to get £50 off a premium. Good job I got one off payment Tracker subsciption package.

Frizzell through the CSMA (civil service motoring association).
No tracker even asked about! (though I'm not saying whether I have one or not!). £770 fully comp. Full NCB, no points. Big excess at £450 acc. damage though.

Nige.

Bell direct didn't want one, but this might be because I'm changing my car mid insurance period

Direct Line's tracker requirements must be based on where you live. I've just re-newed and no mention of Tracker being required.

I'm insured with Admiral for a import WRX. No tracker questioned asked - my history isn't great and I pay 850 fully comp....

Cheers
