Unhappy Howwww much for insurance?

Just been quoted £900 for a 05 WRX plus fitting a Tracker by Lloyds TSB, only paying £410 on a MY 00 Turbo with Prodrive fitted, with More Than, who will not quote on an 05.
Any good ideas please guys.
By the way i'm 42, 3 points for speeding, only driver, full no claims and car is garaged at night.

Cheers Dixie.

Here's an idea, keep the classic . You're moaning about £400 now, wait 'til you drive the 05 off the forecourt, you'll lose 10 times that in a year

Who's moaning about £400, as for losing £4000 i was going to save that by getting an import from Litchfield imports at £16995 on the road.

You're quite correct you will NOT lose £4000 ... you are buying an IMPORT!!

Reckon on losing £8000 minimum when you drive off - don't get the idea that you can buy an import and then sell later for a UK Car price! Many have tried, ALL have failed!

Whatever you decide to do it won't be as good as keeping the Classic MY00 - which looks better, is faster and has lost all its money!!

Just my humble opinion!

I found the privilage to be the cheapest but don't count on them if you need to make a claim, took over 18 months for them to sort mine out!!!!!!!
