Exclamation HUH?? WHAT!!! ARE you having a LAUGH!??!?!?!!?

Just been on confused.com and the cheapest insurance I can get for a wrx sti 3 wagon, is £1589 !!!!!

FFS! I'm 27 years old, with 9 years no claims bonus and previously, only 6 months ago, ws paying only 790 quid for a 1997 sti type-r impreza!!!!!!

SURELY, this can't be happening???

SURELY insurance can't be more expensive for a FU*KING wagon???????

Any help, much appreciated

Matt

The two best companies for online qoutes are usually www.Elephant.co.uk & www.Tesco.co.uk, although i've just insured my Mk2 Golf GTI with Admiral through confused.com as that was £50 cheaper than elephant. Not that I haven't had plenty ******* ridiculous quotes either which don't make any sense!

Best quote I got was from A-Plan, they matched the Tesco's quote but didn't expect me to add £500 worth of additional security, which suits me 'cos if it gets nicked, I don't want it back

I phoned LV and asked for a quote for a MY96 WRX STi wagon and was told that they dont insure that car, I am going to ring again tomorrow and ask again, I will let you know how I get on, (I didnt go through Frizzell) I think I might try Admiral and Elephant as well.

Just phoned LV and they still wont insure a WRX STi 5 door was told they only have a 2 door on the comp so they wont even insure a 4 door STi, they said if I had already had insurance with them they would reinsure it but they do not take any new policies out on those cars.
Tried Admiral Quoted 753.53
Elephant 695.05 the cheapest so far with no tracker.
Then tried CHURCHILL 568.05 but needed a tracker.
