Unhappy Liverpool Victoria

Thought that LV had quite a good feed back until i got a quote from them on line. from what i can tell a lot of scooby owners have nothing but praise for them insuring import and uk cars. My existing policy is 650 fully comp on a uk MY00 Turbo. Their quote .... a staggering 1,104.16( Feckin pound sign aint working), im 26 with 6yrs no claims. What quotes are you guys looking at on your motors ( Age, MY, mods etc)

feed back would be great just to compare

Pete

you say you got the price online? might be worth calling them, some people on here couldn't get a quote on moddified scoobys online, but call them up and hey presto, decent quote.

might be worth a go, they were £170 cheaper than anyone else i tried

am i not liked in the insurance world? i'm 28, clean licence, 8 years NCB and i'm paying £870

i live in a DA postcode, is this the problem? it's a village in the middle of a load of fields FFS!!
common sense wise, it is within 2 minutes of the A2 and from there within 15 mins you could be bloody miles away.

just seems they're taking the **** with me a bit judging by some of the qoutes i see on here from similar aged people

on the bright side it is £170 cheaper than my old company wanted

£900 and you're 39, christ all of a sudden i don't feel so bad!

obviously postcode is a big factor, just didn't realise it made THAT much of a difference.

By all accounts LV don't like under 30's. Be interesting if you do an online quote showing your age as 31 and seeing what the result would be like.

As for me I've got both my cars (Scoob and a 87 Cavalier) on the same policy. The combined total I'm paying is about 830.00. Both fully comp with protected NCB. Thats with full NCB and 4 points thanks to Cheshire Constabulary

LV saved me £200 this year. Was previously with Greenlight. Best of all, they're very mod friendly, so worth even more to me than the £200 saving for the peace of mind, etc.

MY00 Lightly modded, with more to come
32yrs old, 8yrs protected NCB.
£680.
