I would have posted this in the Insurance section, but nobody seems to read it !!

Are Liverpool Victoria still the cheapest company around? I've got a UK MY00 + PPP + quickshift + 17 OZ P1 alloys. It's always a complete pain in the @rse explaining that to insurers so I'm wondering if I should just stick with LV and save myself a whole lot of effort...!

I know exactly what you mean mate. Then why bother? you might save a few quid, (doubt it though!) Then if you have to make a claim (god forbid!!) They come back with the old "weren't you told we don,t do modifications???

I didn't think L&V where the cheapest company ,until you start asking about mod's

I was with Bell Direct the wanted £550 for a MY03 L&V wanted £750.
I asked about putting a PPP pack on it Bell wouldn't insure it ,L&V no problem.

WRX 03 was insured through norwich union for £1089 ,mods of rallytech wing,sti8 wheels,prodrive back box and springs pushing the cost up to that amount.

liverpool victoria £762,not bothered about the mods (they only want to know about engine modifications),weren't interested in a couple of endorsemets we have between us (missus),bans and convictions is all they want to know about.

needless to say i snapped there hand off
