Switch to Liverpool Victoria, they don't charge any extra for mods, unless you increase engine capacity and their cheap. Got my renewal through today £650,full comp, protected full no claims age 31.

I'm currently with Bell Direct ... they wanted £60 extra for suspension and 18" alloys ... not a heavy price to pay. They also charged me £100 to go from 6k to 12k a year mileage ... getting heavier Some people complain about them but I've had no problems, I've never had to make a claim though (and nor do I ever hope to).

Sounds about right - I was charged 60 quid for 8 months when I swapped from regular MY02 WRX 17" to STI8 17" Gold.

"You are modifying the vehicle sir"....

Word of caution and all those estolling the virtues of L&V, Bell Direct etc...

Read their small print - you pay for the mods but they only guarentee to put the car back to manufacturers spec - whats the point ?

Say you spend a grand on mods and stack the car - you wont get a replacement wiht the same mods.

Foods for thought.

T.

PS. I'm with NUDirect - at least they will guarentee I'll get my WRSport BB and STI8's back

PPS. They wanted another 40 quid for the Prodrive springs - but I didnt have them fitted.

Smile L & V

L & V told me they would replace mods so long as you have proof. They told me to photograpgh the car with 17in wheels (97 car originals 15in).
