Insurance, who do you use?
Im 24 and about to buy yet another scooby, this one is a nice sti3, but im sick and tired of paying silly premiums for these cars, best so far is tesco at just under £1300....
Who do you use? Would help if you could give the contact number too

Im not sure.... Look them up on the net, and then find the jap import / performance number.
Or just ring the sales line and ask.

Saw you the other day btw, you were heading onto the magic roundabout on the road running behind the town, looked sweet! You been waiting a while for that puppy I remember.

Paul,
£1300 which I dont think is too bad! Have full no claims now so that helps!
Yeah, been waiting ages/years for one! Had a fair bit of trouble trying to sell the 172 (must have been the colour ;-) ) , ended up giving it to a garage!
But worth the wait she is mint and has hardly any miles on her!

I was with Elephant when I had my p1 & it was £1200 I think? 23, 5 years NCB - probably gone up now though
Now I have a traders policy & pay £1500 & can drive anything, with any mods, valued up to £35,000 with a cap of £100,000 'total for all owned cars & stock cars'
Bit cheaper than insuring the Evo on it's own than before, plus I dont have to worry about the skyline as thats covered too

Whens the engine etc going in?
#22
haha to insure both - with all mods declared was a 5 figure sum
With the trade policy it's less than I was paying with the Evo before
Cheers! - got a few more changes to do, carbon bonnet, boot lid & rear spoiler, all copies of the originals, might look at a carbon skin for the roof to carry the theme over yet
The car is now ready for the engine plus all ancillaries that go with it, just trying to sort an exhaust manifold out then it's a case of putting it all together & job done! I think a couple of months should do it at a guess!
You should try a traders policy with the amount of cars you get through
