I've just had a quote from L&V and I'm nearly 29 with a UK MY98, they knocked over £300 off my current insurer's renewal price. I originally got a quote from L&V over the phone but then I decided to get an online quote as well and it turned out to be over £100 cheaper which I found strange.

For once and for all, for ***** sake... They only insure under 30's on classics. MY01+, newage+, bugeye+ whatever will only insure over 30. I think a classic is group 17 and the newer models are 19.. Very annoying since I am 28 myself with an MY02 but that's just how it is!

Cheers
