Lied, they did!!

My Insurance has gone UP again!

Its now £395! and I am NOT happy, it was £380 last year and £370 the year before!!

The car is worth less, I am ANOTHER year more experienced and skilled in Roadcraft and I have made no claims in ages!!

Gutted!! Have YOU all seen an increase or decrease?

Pete

Edited to say:-

Just been on Confused.com and been quoted from £450 from Equity Red Star to, wait for it .....

£2334 from Fortis!!!!!!!

Direct Line and Esure opted out!! has the Impreza got a worse record now that it has/is falling into the lower used car market with all its truth about rough cars and rough people going together?

Passat diesel for me I think! - £150 insurnace and 60mpg!

I only keep the Impreza because Scoobynet contribute to the running costs, as I would probably leave the BBs otherwise

Assuming your driving a scoobie, I'd be pretty chuffed with a premium under £400! Cost me €2500 last year to insure my STi in Germany!

Try NFU - to them a Subaru is a farm vehicle

Especially a sport

(Only works for over 30s & UK cars before the phonelines get flooded )

Question

Would you believe it? Again this happens!

Wife has 2 claims in last 4 years, 1 no fault, 1 fault ... she also has 1 speeding!!

I am clear - BUT, if I remove her from the policy it goes UP by 20%!!

This reminds me of last year when I told my unmarried mate about it - he added a fictious woman onto his policy, his live in lover he said ... put her at 40 with clean licence and no points or anything (as she doesn't exsist, she will NEVER actually drive the car) BUT,

Listen to this all you single men - his quote dropped by 30%, YES 30%!! by adding a person who doesn't exsist to your policy!!

They will NEVER drive, hence NEVER claim, hence will NEVER be investigated by the company and its NOT fraud either!! Everyones a winner!!

Yes, Impreza Turbo owned since new in May2000, 2 drivers, 12,000miles per year, access to 3 cars, 2 claims, 1 speeding, OLD and Nuclear Weapons Designer.

I STILL think its too much! my first house cost me less than that in 1958!

You could try Adrian Flux Insurance, my missus just saved £720 on her insurance for a Leon Cupra. What makes me laugh is she called some of these female only insurance companies and they told her it would be cheaper for her if they added me to the insurance.

Since I bought my scooby 2 years ago both my renewals have been LESS than previous years! Its costing me less to insure a modded Scooby than it is when I had a mildly modded rs turbo. Previously with axa online but now with Liverpool Victoria

you can't go wrong with Liverpool Victoria.

just over £500 for a UK MY97, me (29) and the other half (31) and they don't care about trackers or thatcham (have them anyway) and your mods don't increase your premium!!!!!!

a great service

Wasn't it pslewis that was moaning about the price of brake pads a little while ago, despite earning £10,400 a month?

Not being funny, but I'd be quite happy to pay £33 a month for insurance if my monthly income was £10,400!

You must be sitting there in your nuclear flame suit if you've got the ***** to whinge about a £400 insurance premium.
Oh my god, it went up by £15, my heart bleeds, IMO the majority of people are paying a sh*tload more than that for their premiums.

Only IMO of course but I'm sure some others may agree.
Mine came down £400 this year but in the Scoob it's gone to around £1600, and that does hurt.
