Say for example you have a fairly minor incident, that only involves yourself at low speed, but it causes enough damage to warrant an insurance claim.
Your NCB is protected. There is obviously no witnesses to the incident either cause no one else is involved.
What would cause the biggest increase in your premium - If it was the main or the second driver that was in control of the car at the time? How would this effect the premium if I decided to change companies in the future??
Can anyone advise on this possible scenario (Rum)?
Cheers
Jim

Depending who is the highest risk on the policy e.g a young driver, you already would be paying a higher percentage premium for this driver, if that driver has the accident/claim then the premium would increase more than what a lower risk driver would.

If you can say that all Insurance companies may rate their premiums that way, then you have a point, as you can't.....
