Are you sure thats how much a system is going to up the power and not just advertising, is the system Turbo back? De-cat?, should think at most upto 10% increase, go back to your insurance co then. If not shop around for a co thats better on mods.

Wow! That seems expensive. Can i ask which insurer your with??? I'm thinking of putting a backbox on, but i dont fancy payin even 10% of my premium for just a backbox.

 

My insurer had no incrrease for a ppp backbox - royal/sun alliance. did ask 'what BHP % increase' though - told them 2%

They wanted £260 for upto 10% increase...

The 460 was for a 11-20% gain..ie Turbo back

 

I've just been told the same from Tesco. £260 for change of centre for decat
