I've just been ringing around and Liverpool Victoria have bettered my second lowest quote by £250!!

Am I missing something or do they specifically target a certain type of person, thus keeping their premiums down??

Yes they do target a certain type of 'risk', you must be a good one for there to be a margin like that.

I was astonished! I was hit by a p*ssed driver in July 2000 and I didn't get a penny back so I technically have a fault claim. That claim will have gone next year so I can't wait to see what the quote will be without it...

Alot of companies allow you one accident/conviction before increasing the premium, not many though.

Just tried their quick quote for the missus and pleasantly surprised.

When I phoned to arrange, curiously, they had no interest in where the car was kept, what security was fitted or any mods but the price shot up to over £400.
I suggested that I could stick a Scoob on a council estate with no protection and that wouldn't affect the quote and they agreed, barmy.
