I'm suprised you can go with LV. General concensus is that they rarely insure under 30's.
Have a look back through the threads on here, especially the ones with titles 'who do you insure with' and you'll find people of similar age with insurance and the name of who insures them.

My 20 year old mate pays £3500 with Tesco (who require a tracker).
Liverpool Victoria no longer do under 25's as from 3 month ago (or have they changed their mind??)

I was quoted 3400 when I was 19 by Tesco. Now 20 and don't know what they'll charge. How did you get a quote from LV? They wouldn't even insure me on a 106GTi until I was 21! If you are using their online quote, don't even bother, I am sure it just generates its quotes at random. Give them a call. I decided to wait a while myself so I can save and buy a decent example rather than the cheap one I was going to go for. The wait itself is pretty exciting!

dont know if what ive said is being understood...
im currently insured with LV with my current car.. and next year would like to get a scoob (theres a silver 1993 wrx on the for sale in here that would be a dream car for next year) and with them I get quite healthy discount.. question was did you lot think with them or other insurers i could get a policy?

Guessing you mean this one? Looks like a good one, especially for the money. If you can get decent insurance then go for it. When you say 'healty' discount what sort of price do you mean? I was under the impression that LV were very reluctant to insure anyone on imports, let alone 19yr olds. If they will, go for it, as I doubt anybody else will insure it.
