Question

Apart from the problems TBMeech sems to have had ....
Has anyone else had any problems with them as at the moment they are the cheapest by far for me

P.S I must say though that the one person I have got a quote from that actually knew what they were talking about was *Rum* (Tom)
from Schofields. was nice to talk to another subaru fan

I'm with Tesco's. The only problem I had with them, is that they couldnt organise a p*ss up in a pub. They sent me my policy, asked me to sign it and send it back with my proof of no claims and my security cert. for my tracker. To which I did, I then get a letter saying that as I have not provided any proof of security I'm not covered for theft. So I call the number on the letter to query this, I get through, oh sir you need to speak to Customer Service, I'll put you through, and she cut me off, 4 times this happened. In the end I got through to customer services who said

Tesco >>> "oh your tracker cert. has probably be filled away with your proof of no claims. Oh and it will take me 14 days to get it from our filling bay"

Me >>> Arrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Tesco >>> Its alright thou sir, as long as you have proof of your tracker, you SHOULD be alright if your car is stolen.

Me >>> SHOULD!!!!!??

Tesco >>> yes sir, give me a call in the new year and I may have it back

Me >>> Fine, whats your name and number, and you best wanna hope my car dont get nicked cos I'll be mad if there's any probs.

yeah same with me. They are a pain in the **** with receiving documents. Its funny how they always get the cheque but never get the security documents you send or proof of no claims! Best thing is to fax it to them with a covering letter (thats what they told me)

I went with Tescos, they're the only people that'd give me a decent quote. From what i've been hearing i just hope i'm not involved in an accident!

Yeah, i needed a Tracker too. Went for the Tracker Monitor in the end.

Yep - you're right to worry about Tesco if you have to claim!
How about 16 weeks waiting for settlement on a write off (not my fault)?

I'm with Tesco's and am currently in the middle of trying to settle a claim that the other party is contesting. I'll let you know how they do.
