Question

Hi
Anyone tell me the best insurance companies for insuring scoobys. Not sure if i am going for an import or not yet so ideally would like companies who cater for both.
Currently I am with adrian flux but thats only on a MK2 golf gti. And I am 22 so hopefully i will be able to find someone to indsure me.
Any help appreciated

Thanks Dave

I had a stupendous quote from Barclays of £700 F/C for an imported Pulsar GtiR (group 19/20) - I have 1 fault claim and 7 pts - that quote beat all the rest like Tesco, Privelege etc by a good £500!

I do have to pass my advanced test though - not sure how much discount they gave me for that.

Blimey - had my renewal through the post yesterday from my broker....

£2,100 for my MY02 WRX and MY98 Sport! Plonkers had transferred my full protected no claims discount to the Sport with full whack on the WRX! Maybe it's 'cos Jeremy Clarkson lives down the road :-)

Have a gander through the insurance forum, there's a few threads on there that will give you some quotes peolpe have had and company names and no.s

I found that it saved me nearly 600quid within three phone calls

Very very worthwhile, I ended up with Liverpool & Victoria.

Im 23 with 2 years no claims and I pay £1900 fully comp with £1000 excess on an MY95 RA. Luckily I don't have to fork out for a tracker with this policy (who wants a nicked car back anyway).
