Erm how you gonna prove that you have 7 yrs no claims - will your previous insurer provide a certificate stating the 7 years? - most only give 5 or 6 years...

LV were very specific on this to me! - even though I have the max 9 with LV - as my renewal quote only says 6 I can only have this - even though I can show that my last 4 renewal certs state 6 years!! -which intuitively = at least 9!

Question

On my renewel with Churchill it states 7 years NCD!!!! or your current insurance company is obliged to send on your current NC record on to your new Company.

The exact wording on my renewel is:
No Claims Discount Details:
Years Available: 7
NCD Protection Not Included

She said if i take a photocopy and post to them that will do

As Axa's maximum no claims is 6 years - thats all they state on their renewal, even if I had 40 yrs - the renewal quote will state 6 years - they wont change this

Hence I have to pay more with the likes of LV than I should have to.......

Thumbs down

Steve

Thats bad luck.Have you tried talking to AXA to see if they would sent you or LV something that would confim youv'e had X years accident free but because og thier policy this only equates to 6 yrs no claims.

Out of interest what % is that?

7 is 65%.
