Default Look what I've got and fitted

Purchased this on eBay the other day, brand new in box could not be happier, it's a great bit of kit does everything I could need from a in car entertainment system, avic f940BT

Was a straight simple swap, I snipped all the original ISO plug and soldered the wires together as I hate the ISO adaptors as they just create clutter behind the unit and with all the wires need anyway it just seemed pointless for something that's a walk in the park for me

See it anybody can name the band in watching on DVD I'm sure quite a few will know it!

I wasn't sure if you had the navigation version or not, it's brilliant, even that nav is pretty good!

yup 940bt, I wanted an all in one unit I hate wires all over the place.
I also routed the ipod cable into the centre armrest and put the gps receiver under the windscreen wiper scuttle panel so its out of sight.

Linkin Park/JayZ?

Looks like a nice unit. I've got the Alpine W530BT which I believe is similar spec-wise but tbh I'm not sold on the user interface.

That's exactly what I have done, hate unsightly things, just the mic you can't really hide but the wire can be

I'm currently trying to source a decent double din unit for my blobeye but it needs to be compatible with spotify in that I can control tracks fwd and back with the stereo controls not using my iphone as the swipe is really annoying - do any of you guys with this unit use spotify??

Guys, I was just wondering,

I have bought a second hand unit that has come with a USB cable, Mike for Bluetooth and an Ipod cable.

Where do you lads have these things located in your cars?

Dave I fitted my mic behind the dash up through then behind the driver side a pillar so wires out of sight. I have my iPod cable running under the centre console then into the cubby. Hope this helps. My GPS receiver is under the wiper scuttle plastic the wite through the gromit under the drivers footwell back behind the system
