Will it make much difference having an uprated battery in the car?
Before when I was running two amps and two subs, the headlights use to flicker. I found using a cap helped stop this, but will an uprated battery help?
I was toying with the idea of a yellow top Optima, but is that the right one to go for? (I know they do other ones!) Is this a good idea? And where can I get one cheap?
Cheers

It probably won't help much - the problem is that your alternator is not able to keep up with the demands, so the supply drops below 14.4v.
Still, saying this it ain't going to stop me from putting an optima in soon...
And, of course, it's yellow so it will match your obsession with changing the colour of everything on your impreza. Hell, you could even colour code the badge to match

Nick,
The reason I ask about the colour, is that I thought they did different colours to represent different attributes of the battery.
Is there a red top and blue as well??
For my engine bay a red top would be better, but I'm looking for stereo performance, not colour coding the engine bay!
Cheers

Ps - Also the badge was blue, then silver, but I decided to swap it back for the standard one!!! It looks better!!!
