6 cd changer

hi all i've got a 6 cd changer in the boot which for some reason keeps sticking anyone got any ideas

How long has it been fitted? It may be something as simple as the orientation thingbeing the wrong way - the bit that tells it wether it is horizontal or vertical.
That was the problem when mine skipped.
