I think I blew up my radio
As part of my ongoing investigations to solving this problem...https://www.scoobynet.com/ice-2/8164...nwood-h-u.html, I found this page... nodivisions, given by a kind and generous soul.
I now knew that I need to short out two pins on the unit with a 10kohm resistor to make it think it has a changer connected...
So I was merrily shorting out the pins on the cd changer socket (looking for which combination makes the unit think it has a cd changer connected and so switch to that input), when I slipped and shorted one of the pins to the outside casing of the radio...and...one very very tiny spark later and the radio is dead - nothing - no red light.
So i think ahh it's just a fuse - but it's not. Fuse No 9 in the box is fine - and the clock is still working.
Any ideas? Have I killed my radio with one small slip? or is there maybe a fuse inside it??
