You can pick up a forrester pocket which is in silver with a flip up fascia for £16 at your local subaru dealer (if there is such a thing anymore). I have just recently fitted one and they do look great

do a search on here there are plenty of guides.

I did the Subaru Forester pocket conversion on my 03 blob wrx. These are about £40 ish from the dealers if you are lucky enough to find one, i got mine off ebay (there was only one) for £12 delivered.
I got my mate to take the pocket, stereo and plates to his work and he made it all up for me. There's not much to it the main thing is getting everything lined up right!

Looks like this when it's done...

The pocket is spring loaded so you just push it and it opens up (handy for storing you wallet, ciggies etc) , you can put the pocket top or bottom i went for it at the bottom with head unit on top

Pocket open....

Hope this helps

Jonny
