Please help/advice
I have a 10 CD changer mounted to the back seat - has been fine for 3 months or so.
SZtarted to get irratic - not playing all of the disks
not will not lplay any - i can hear the loading mech working - skips over all of the disks, tried different disks, cleaning the disks
Tried a lens cleaner - would not 'see' it
any ideas gratefully received
Many thanks
Paul

Not sure if this helps, but on the side of the changer there is a setting for verticle or horizontal mounting. check to make sure it is in the right position as you have mounted it. Failing that have you tried another Kenwood changer. I presume you have a Kenwood head unit as I was once told that changers are only compatable with a head unit of the same make.Hope that helps.

BUGGER!!!
looks like the lazer has gone.
Quoted £ 100+ VAT to get it repaired with a 3 month warranty - 3 months, sod that!
As far as i am aware the lazer swop is straight forward enough (was in a PS1 and an old CD player of mine)
Anyone know where i can get a Kenwood Lazer assembly from???
