Question

Due to the fact that when I moved house I lost the books to my Kenwood stereo , which leaves me with a problem , I keep getting the error code E-04 come up on the head unit when a cd tries to load in the 10 disc auto changer , anyone know what this means?
Cheers Dave

Thumbs up

Dave,

E-04, as quoted in the back of my manual (8080R).....

No disc has been loaded in the disc magazine.
=> Load a disc into the disc magazine.
The CD is very dirty. The CD is upside-down. The CD is scratched a lot.
=> Clean the CD and load it correctly.

That's it. Helpful manuals as usual

Cheers matey it would appear as if the changer is knackered then , as the discs are clean and it does it with all the discs .
Cheers Dave
