Default 6510 v 6010 cs

Anyone tell me the difference between the 2 (in basic terms) - all I seem to be able to find is something about the outer edge being larger with more holes in 6510 ???

Am I missing something

Probably !!

Aslo are the 6510 cs newer than the 6010 ??

Difference in woofer size?

6010cs:
Woofer mounting depth 53mm
Cut-out diameter 127mm

6510cs:
Woofer mounting depth 61mm
Cut-out diameter 142mm

Hope this helps

Thanks ticky,

Just saw people fitting different ones and couldn't work out the differences.

6010 best for me then - given simple clearance etc etc

The 6510 will not fit the standard spacer adaptor.
I made a spacer 12mm thk (I think) from mdf. It woofer fits fine with no contact with the window glass & magnet but I need to make a sheild for the back to keep the speaker dry. Using the plastic from a pop bottle then glued to the mdf spacer,
You should be able to download the specs of the speakers from Infinity web site.
Your choice might fit the original spacer better which will save the headaches from protecting the back of the speaker from water.
