Wagon Drivers and I.C.E
hi all
i have a 51 plate wagon and want to upgrade the i.c.e..
is the factory fit head unit any good this has a 6 disc multichanger as well.
i want to use speakers that will fit the existing holes and maybe even put tweeters in the provided spaces on the doors.
is an amp or two recommended?
i will be using dynamat in the doors as well.
thanks guys
regards Stan

Change the H/U.
Put decent front speakers in, such as the focal v-slims if you can run to it.
Amp is worthwhile, but realistically a new head unit's inbuilt amp isn't terrible. Try it without, but plan on putting one in sometime in the future... With that in mind, put some cables through to the door whilst you've got the cards off.
When fitting components off the h/u using the factory wiring loom, you'll need to find somewhere to fit the crossovers and also pick up the speaker wires. I've fitted these in the kickpanels and picked up the speaker wires before now.
