New Road Angel quiery
I have fitted the above to my car so that the unit sits in the center of the windscreen so the line of sight is just above the intercooler scoop on bonnet, as yet I have yet to have the LASER alert go off, my mate has a Snooper unit that goes off all the time on Laser alarm, is my unit working as it should and it is more reliable than Snooper or could it be faulty, its been in for over a month now?

i also have my road angel in the middle of the window and have no problems.
Is your unit reading your speed i.e what speed your doing .
and have you registered the unit and downloaded info from road angel website, these may be important facts.

laser
I know for a fact the angel will only detect a laser if it targets you , by then it may be too late anyway. The angel will not detect a laser gun or a laser device in a van just because you are near it.
hope this clears this problem up

Used to work for Halfrauds the road angel rep plugged the fact road angel gave no false alarms so technically I would imagine if you are not targeted it wont go off. As for your mates snooper if it was a s1, 715 or s5 then it is not a GPS unit and will have picked up everything from automatic doors and traffic light sensors as well as active Gatsos. Your road angel detects all cameras via gps so no false alarms there. Hope it helps.
