Default Help with Infinity 6500CS

Hello

I want to fit some Infinity 6500cs in my MY04 STI but am a little concerned about the fitment.

I've read the FAQ and various posts but still not 100% - some people have fitted them with different size spacers. I wondered if the speaker caught the inside of the door card. Also, if there was enough space between the rear of the speaker and the window

I took the door card off last night and couldnt work out the best spacer size so that the the speaker front didnt catch the door card and the speaker rear didnt catch the window

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
Nad

As you've no doubt seen in the FAQ, I use 2 x 12mm MDF spacers (i.e. 24mm) and it fits fine (05 WRX).

There was no door card foulage (or window scrapage), however I found that the plastic protruding rings on the inside of the card (around the grills) need to be removed to stop vibration.
