Headunit & speaker recommendations
Hi chaps.
Time to hit the Scooby knowledgebase for info.
It's been a few years since I’ve had to purchase the above, and would like some advise.
I'd like a HU which has:
MP3 playback - which can transverse folders / directories
Reasonable output - 40-60W per chan (I have a wagon so there isn't a good place for a amp / sub)
Speakers (2 pairs):
Suitable for above - which doesn't require too much in the way of modification.
I listen to pretty much everything - Rock, Soul, Dance / trance etc etc so must be suitable for mixed playback.
I've a budget of about £300 > £350 all in.
Any suggestions?
/edit OMG just seen the prices of DAB radios. .

You've got a ready made amp rack in the wagon under the boot floor/above the spare wheel!
Head unit - anything really. Recommend spending 300 quid of your budget on that. 150 quid will get you a nice set of front components including fitting bits (adaptors and dynamat) etc.
If you want DAB, blaupunkt do some great value integrated units...
Oh, and if it's a new shape wagon, I've got a box for a 12" sub that you might want a look at?

Seats still move around with no problems.
