Have recently purchased an in- car " foryou " combined in car dvd / vcd / cd / mp3 player to go in the wifes hyundai coupe, may just help the kids to keep a little bit quiter on the longer journeys with there favourit dvd`s !!

so okay never installed anything like this before, just wonder do the radio adapter kits that the likes off halfords etc sell convert the cars own stereo wiring into a common one used by most car stereo manufactures ??

say that because I remember when she bought the car we purchased a new stereo and also a hyundai compatable adapter lead and it was just a case off joining up the stereos wiring to this adapter cable - all pretty straightfoward enough !!

just wonder if this will be the same for this particular unit ??

the dvd player has what looks like a rats nest off wires at the back off it !! but too be fair they are all clearly marked up what each colour relates to.

obviously a few off the plugs go straight to the seperate in car screen / monitor.

anyone advise re this adapter suitabilty and any other things I may encounter in the fitment off this dvd player ??
