Kenwood Mask Error Message !!!
Hi,
Finally got my Kenwood mask head unit and CD player into the Scoob, only
problem is everytime I scroll through the source button and it get to the CD option it comes up with the error message on the display of "AUX" and the cd's don't play !!
The changer has power from the lead as you can eject and re-insert the 10 disk holder thing and the head unit recognises its there as the option comes up on the display, which when you disconnect the changer lead I only get Radio and Mini disc.
Anyone know what the error code "AUX" is ??
I think it may be the changer lead as its the original one ( About 8 - 9 years old ) and the connector one end looks like it could be damaged. It worked fine a month ago in the Clio !!
Just don't really want to spend 40 quid on a new lead if its the changer that's knackered !!
Mark.

Aux means it's playing aux input. The CD changer connection can be used to provide an aux input, or a changer and aux input.
Give kenwood a bell, they're pretty helpful and might be able to suggest some quick and easy remedy.

Could be the lead as you say, see if your local dealer will let you borrow one to throw accross the seats and plug in to see if that works. Also just inside the cd changer next to the eject button there maybe a small switch, marked 1 and 0, try flicking it to the other setting and see if that works.
