Default What amp and sub do i fit

I have ftted the following

2x Infinity 6002i (front doors)
2x Infinity 6002i (parcel shelf)
Pioneer AVH-P6600DVD Head Unit (motorized touch screen)

I dont want to go stupid with a sub and amp, was told that fitting a sub and amp would improve the sound field so much, but dont want to spend stupid money. I will build my own box to fit sub and amp into as do not want a box sitting in boot. Will make box sit across back of rear seats so still have lots of boot space.Any help would be great as have never had a sub and amp before so not sure what to look for.

Would say JL audio 12in sub and directed audio amp guaranteed happiness though box size is crucial as is wether you have the box ported(vented) or sealed.size of the box affects the sound/power handling of the sub.If youve never had one before would be tempted to go to a local car audio specialist as generally get better prices for a sub/box/amp package. Also depends what sort of music you listen to the most, the larger the sub the deeper the bass-smaller the sub tighter the bass and faster response-if i were after listening to dance the most would prob fit 10in subs,if drum and bass maybe a 15inch. but generally for good overall balance get a 12inch sub-they play most stuff well.

I've got 2X12 inch Vibe subs, in the Vibe box... powered by a 350 watt MTX amp... inside the cabin... Pioneer components and tweeters in the front doors, and Vibe 6X9's in the rear shelf, which are amp'ed up by a 4X70 Pioneer amp... oh, TV and dvd player aswell... The Vibes shake the car like f**k.... and I'm well happy with the set up... each to there own though... will have to invest in some sound deadening soon...

I would go for a JBL 6 channel amp and a 12" Infinity sub in a moulded enclosure, sounds great. I had this set up in an old car and it sounded really well.
