Default Infinity Coaxials or components?

I went to listen to the Infinity Reference 6000CS (I believe) Component System in Halfords, and it really sounds the dogs danglies

Now, as we all know, they are expensive (100 quid is expensive to me), so I'm thinking about going for the Infinity Reference 6502i instead, which is a 2-way coaxial which I can get for 50 quid.

The question is, how much worse do they sound compared to the 6000CS? I realise the sound stage will be lower, but apart from that, is there a lot of difference?

If they are only slightly worse, I might go for them instead considering they are probably easier to mount
