Infinity Coaxials or components?
 

I went to listen to the Infinity Reference 6000CS (I believe) Component System in Halfords, and it really sounds the dogs danglies :)

Now, as we all know, they are expensive (100 quid is expensive to me), so I'm thinking about going for the Infinity Reference 6502i instead, which is a 2-way coaxial which I can get for 50 quid.

The question is, how much worse do they sound compared to the 6000CS? I realise the sound stage will be lower, but apart from that, is there a lot of difference?

If they are only slightly worse, I might go for them instead considering they are probably easier to mount :)

components every time, got reference 5" in the back and Perfect 6.oc in front,
have fitted 2 ways before, now they sit in the mrs's car where they belong
