Infinity Kappa or Reference?

Infinity Kappa or Reference?
Does anyone have specific experience of the Infinity Kappa 525i and Reference 5002i? I am planning to upgrade the rear speakers in my MY99 5dr with one of the above, but I don't have the opportunity to listen to the Kappa's as there are no stockists for 100+ miles!!
They will be driven by an Alpine CDA7842R (decent, punchy head unit - £400 4yrs ago), without any additional amplification. I know they're only rear speakers, but I'm looking for a clear sound with as much controlled mid bass as possible, but I don't want an overly bright top end.
Thoughts?!

Also, do the Kappa models "drop in" with the same simplicity as the 6000cs?

Can’t speak from experience of the Kappa, but I can tell you this.
The Scooby is so bloody noisy even with four rolls of sound deadening material.
You might be chucking money away on something you don’t need too
Save the money and buy some sub bass, that’s the frequency range that will be masked by your Zorst.
Alternatively if you have money to spare buy home hifi or surround sound, it’s a much better environment to listen to music.
by the way mine are the Reference 6000cs you can kill the tweater by about 3db on the cross over as required.
