Default Noobie......with no idea!!

Hi all,

I recently picked up an S-plate Impreza Turbo. I'm now looking to replace the front speakers as the previous owner has blown them out. Can anyone advise me on what size speakers to buy and any recommendations??

Thanks
Rob.

Yep, the origianal speaker size is 16.5cm so anythin of that size will do. however autoleads do an adaptor kit enabling you to put 13cm speakers in, so depends what size you wanna go for! You can get the adaptors from halfords/motorworld etc. Hop that solves your problem.

Hi there . . .
You would probably be better looking in the "ICE" section on here, there are numerous threads on speaker replacement including recommendations.
I changed my front speakers last month on my 93' WRX. Not being too fussy about what went in, I opted for a set of JBL(?) 2 way speakers from Halfords £49.99 the pair.
With this kit you get a number of spacers to adjust the fit, into the plastic cone the door speaker is currently mounted in, though you do get some bits left over it does the job nicely.
Happy hunting . . .
