CD changer fitting - how to run the cables?
I've got to get round fitting the cd changer sat in a draw for the last couple of months but I'm not sure where to run the cables.
I'm going to fit it under the rear shelf and bolt it to the shelf so the rear seats will be coming out.
How have people run the cables from front to back? before on older cars I've pulled all the carpet out and taken a front seat out and run the cables down one side under the carpet but don't really want to strip the interior to get these wires to the HU. If I have to fine but seems a bit of a mission.
TIA.

I have ran my cable down the sills of the passenger side of the car.
Fairly simple, no removing of carpets or seats, but you do have to remove some of the sill trim. Behind the trim is some 'trunking' where there is ample space to run the changer cable.
Very easy to open the trim with the clips. Lot easier than a load of screws...lol
I did however remove the glovebox and trim to at the passenger footwell in order to conceal it securely.
Hope this helps a bit.

Bit of an alternative for you -
I ran mine down the centre (up the side of the console) under the rear carpet tunnel then under the rear seats (easy to unbolt & remove).
Then into the boot via a small gap in the bottom corner of the rear seats.
Hardest bit was the carpet tunnel (without removing the carpet) - I removed the rear seats then unwound a metal coat hanger, fed it through, then taped the CD cable to it, to pull back under the carpet.
The cables now completly hidden from view and it only took 10 mins to do.
