Equivalent to Ipod?

Equivalent to Ipod?
Is there an affordable equivalent to the 40 gig HD that sits within an Ipod, to house my MP3 collection for playback through my Woodstock DAB52's AUX in?
I know the DAB52 plays MP3's but they have to be loaded on a CDROM, which doesn't get away from the fact that you still need to carry CD's around with you. I'd prefer to pre-load my MP3's and choose that way.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
