Cool

Looking for a little advice guys...

Going to buy a new head unit and wish to make it an Alpine mp3 player, anyone any suggestions on what model to go for? Looking at the £300 mark...

Cheers...

Will all depend on the rest of your system to be honest.....

Through standard or cheap speakers and amplifiers you wont notice much improvement whatever unit you choose.

I've got the Alpine 7983 MP3, its a solid performer, I've got Infinity 605's on the front. But my setup is 2 year old now. I would say that the 9812 is the equiv now, but looks better and would have more features and a remote !
